What is the purpose of PRAASA?
- Develop greater unity among the members, groups, and areas of
the Pacific Region. - Encourage the exchange of ideas and experiences.
- Provide an opportunity for members to discuss pertinent aspects
of Alcoholics Anonymous. - The Assembly and the PRAASA Committee should always foster
the Recovery, Unity and Service legacies of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The Pacific Region is composed of 15 GENERAL SERVICE AREAS in nine states: California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Washington, Hawaii and Alaska.
Al-Anon will participate in PRAASA 2025.
When is PRAASA 2025?
March 7 – 9, 2025.
The assembly runs from 12 noon on Friday to 12:15 pm on Sunday.
We plan to have an early bird meeting Thursday night. Location TBD.
Where will PRAASA 2025 be held?
PRAASA 2025 will be at the Egan Center. The Egan Center is centrally located at 555 West Fifth Avenue in downtown Anchorage.
The Anchorage Hilton is at 500 West Third Avenue in downtown Anchorage, three blocks from the
Egan Center. We will have discounted rates for PRAASA.
Will PRAASA 2025 be hybrid?
No.
What accessibilities services will be available?
- Spanish and ASL interpretation will be provided.
- Listening devices will be available for the hearing impaired.
- Large print format of the program and other documents will be available for the vision impaired.
When can I register for PRAASA?
The PRAASA website will go live November 1, 2024, at which time registration will be open.
When can I make my hotel reservation?

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
The Ted Stevens International Airport is about 5.6 miles to the Egan Center.

OFF AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION:
The Municipality of Anchorage People Mover Bus stops every 30 minutes at various Airport locations and alternates between downtown and the Dimond Center destinations from approximately 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
